Should this have been the original

Image
After watching my copy of The Warriors on bluray I felt the cover artwork really let this film down. There is a lot in this film you could use for inspiration such as, all the gangs, the vest or "colors", the flip between film and comic book. There is just so much they could have done for this film instead of just reusing the same artwork from the DVD.

I opened up photoshop and a browser window in chrome and got to work. I sourced a lot of images off of google the hardest of the bunch to find was the warriors emblem. Every search was littered with the golden state warriors logos... real pain in the ass. In the end i collected a total of 10 images to build a cover worthy of this films awesomeness.

So what do you think? Is this cover better than the original or did I miss the mark

Is 6 dollars worth it?

"CAN YOU DIG IT?" For $5.68 you definitely can, you can even own it at that price! Let's talk about if it's worth it though, let's dig into the big question "Is physical media even worth it anymore?"

This week I picked up a copy of The Warriors (1979) and I will openly admit that before this purchase I had never seen this film "OOOH call it a party foul" I will definitely take the penalty all my fault. Now I have seen enough parodies to have a good idea of what this film is about but seeing the film is just something I had never done. So I picked this one up at Wal-mart for $5.68 before tax and gave it a watch. So let's look at the purchase and decide is this worth purchasing?
